Dusty has over 10 years of experience providing first aid & safety training to industry. He began his safety career as Chair of the Safety Committee at the City of Vancouver and is now an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and a Gold Seal Certified Construction Safety Coordinator. Dusty teaches all aspects of safety including First Aid, Forklift Operator, Traffic Control Person, Fall Protection, Confined Space and more. He has been a Master Trainer with the BC Construction Safety Association and a Health and Safety Manager with VANOC.
Jane has been teaching advanced first aid since 1988. She began her career as a Construction Safety Officer and First aid attendant for Ledcor. Her continued education in first aid led her to the BC Ambulance Service where she spent 14 years as a Paramedic. Jane’s extensive experience and knowledge, along with her high-energy teaching style, result in extremely high pass rates for her OFA Level 2 & 3 students. Jane is currently in the process of becoming a WorkSafeBC OFA Examiner.
Meghan has been teaching first aid since 2004. She is a nurse who works part-time in the Emergency Room at Burnaby Hospital and part-time teaching first aid for Trauma Tech. Meghan also has several years of experience as a lifeguard. Meghan’s knowledge and background, combined with her love of teaching, make for an enjoyable and rewarding classroom experience.
Crystal has over 9 years of advanced first aid experience. She teaches every level of WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid, as well as several Canadian Red Cross courses. Crystal’s knowledge and friendly demeanor create an extremely effective and comfortable learning environment.
Bridget Milsom has been instructing first aid for more than 30 years. A senior Instructor Trainer and Evaluator for WorkSafe BC Occupational First Aid, she plays an integral role in the development and maintenance of standards for Trauma Tech’s instructional and administrative teams. Bridget has been a ski patroller with Cypress Cross Country for 22 years and a volunteer with North Shore Search and Rescue for 11 years.
